While tensions between Thailand and Cambodia have subsided since a ceasefire took effect, sporadic confrontations near the border have continued, presenting security risks in some areas and potential disruptions for travelers. Please refer to the specific travel guidance below.
Most business travel to Thailand and Cambodia may resume, with the following exceptions:
- Business travel is not permitted within 50km of the Thailand-Cambodia border.
- Given instances of ongoing bilateral hostility, Global Security advises increased caution for Cambodian national business travelers to Thailand and Thai national business travelers to Cambodia. These travelers should consult with Global Security and local BUs before undertaking travel.
